Default A small caster idea

Hi, 6/8 of my characters are casters. I love using magic because its powerful and useful, both for support and offense. However thats not the issue, my real point is the weapons.

I suppose what im about to get at is opinion, but i think one person atleast might agree, that wands and staff skins don't recive the same time and energy from the designers as swords and axes. Much of the time i find myself wanting to just not see the focus or the wand or the ugly stick at all.

My suggestion(s) is small, and probably has been mentioned before but i think we could use one of several things:

a) Make magical gloves, or the ability to somehow mix your current wand/focus //staff with your current glove set (perhaps even add a glow of some sort)
2) just put a drop down list for focus/wands/staffs to turn them off from viewing.

This idea does not extend to melee weapons due to their reliance on the sharp objects to inflict damage, but can be atleast feasible with magical type weapons because caster classes shouldn't need a medium like a wand to effiently use their magic, and they can use it without the wand/focus/staff but they wont recive any bonus.

Please a thought, dont just put signed v_v

More skins for caster weapons would be nice. Maybe from the design-a-weapon contest.

I like the foci guantlet concept.
Also primary hand weapons for casters that are classified as staffs or wands, but are different would be neat.
Like a Gauntlet for the main hand shaped like a cobra head that shoots the projectile out of it's mouth when you 'wand' a target.

I dont think we need anything done with gloves. We need more attention and time put into wands and staffs.

Especially the fire-wands and fire-staffs.

All the other elements get really sexy weapons, while the fire element gets crap basically.

For example....

Rago's flame wand is nothing more then a normal fire focus item made green or some other colour. I mean come on!!!!

Most fire-wands, fire-staffs and alot of other element weapons are just rip-offs of other skins ingame.

Their is little if any originality used when creating ele weapons. Rago's flame staff being the one exception, but I believe you can find that drop in one of the elite areas.

Compare that to swords, axes and even bows. Their is alot more distinction between the different types, while your average staff is virtually identical throughout all 3 campaigns.

All we need is some cultural variation or boss variation.

NF came close with making the end-game wand look like a mallet with some purple shiney bits around it. But thats as original as it got so far.
